When the tub is covered and not being used it is important to make sure that the tub is energy efficient. That is why Beachcomber uses their Protec ™ design. This system puts the spa control and pump system on the outside of the tub. When most top brand spas say they are "Full Foam" they really mean that they foam fill all 3 sides of the spa and leave the control pack side hollow for the pumps and controls. That is not the case with Beachcomber. With our Protec design all four walls are insulated and the controls sit under a covered step adjacent to the spa side. This design makes Beachcomber the most insulated Hot Tub in the industry.

All of the Beachcomber brand spas, from the least to most expensive are built with the same high quality materials and construction styles.

Unlike other manufacturers that change jet styles, pump brands, insulation methods and even brand names between the tubs they produce, Beachcomber builds tubs for every price point by only changing the amount of jets, power of pumps and the programmability of controls. All of the beachcomber tubs are built with the same reinforced frame, full foam insulation, interchangeable jets, digital control, all Models (except 320) are available with the Protec™ design, Power Smart ® heatshield covers, and the same high quality shell and surface.

Protec ™

• Up to 25% more insulation make the tub more efficient than other brands. It is important to have the tub well insulated. When the Hot Tub is not being used there is an insulated cover on top of the water, this cover keeps the heat from rising out of surface of the spa. It is also important to keep the heat from going out the sides of the tub and if all four walls are not insulated then you are not as protected as you can be.
• Ease of service. This design allows the service technician easier access to the tub's control system. This will be beneficial for draining and filling the spa, motor and heater maintenance, and for trouble-shooting control problems. The quick disconnect pumps make taking the pump system apart a snap for anyone.
• The protected step not only covers the pump area, it gives the bathers an access point to get into and out of the hot tub. It also acts as a seat when outside the tub.· Moving the motors outside the tub also reduces the noise / vibrations that you can feel inside the tub. The motors are not longer positioned under your seat. This raises the overall enjoyment of the tub.
• Having all four walls of the tubs completely insulated adds strength to the spa by filling in all the gaps with the hard foam. Pipes cannot wiggle or move and there is not excessive strain on the shell caused by lack of insulation as seen in other spa brands.

Waterports

Beachcomber offers a variety of jetting configurations through out the tubs. The jetting in the Beachcomber Hot Tubs is completely customizable by using a waterport system. All jet locations have either a small, medium or large waterport. Any one jet can be moved or switched to any other waterport of the same size. So if you have a favorite style jet you can move it into the waterport located in you favorite style seat.

Most tubs come with a full variety of jet types. If you have a preference the tub can be built with any style you prefer for one seat of all. You can also by additional jets if multiple people like the same jet.

Aquacoustics

Music like you have never felt it before!

Beachcomber's unique music system is just a great feature to add to the spa experience. The calming sounds of your favorite CD or radio station might just be what is need to complete the outdoor hot tub experience. Beachcomber saw the problem with stereos in other spas and chose to make a change.

Beachcomber chooses not to add speakers above the water line, instead they turn the whole shell into one big drum. This eliminates the problem of poor sound quality cause by water splashing around the speaker causing confusion to the sound. By hooking transducers to the shell of the tub the entire hot tub becomes one big speaker with perfect sound coming through the water. Add that to the waterproof floating remote control, the external speaker jacks (to add speakers to other outdoor living areas), the AM / FM CD Player and CD Rack and you have a complete sound package.
